By utilizing the unique qualities of an amazing marine plant, Ecklonia maxima kelp, Cambrian manufactures products that directly improve food production, beautify our landscape and promote human and animal health, all naturally.

Controlled, live Ecklonia kelp harvesting, followed by material processing and distribution of Ecklonia based products offer the following benefits:

• The associated invertebrates and vertebrates communities all benefit. Kelp biomass production is significantly increased by selective harvesting.
• Brings much needed job opportunities to local coastal communities, literally places food on tables in a number of households.

Plant growth market:

• It reduces dependency of chemical fertilizer significantly, improves soil health, quality and weight of yields of food crops when compared to conventionally produced crops.
• Reduces bulk fertilizer need by 20 to 30% which, in turn, directly impacts transportation and labor issues. 

Health and Beauty  market:

• Cambrian’s Ecklonia based HBA formulations have clearly demonstrated unique effectiveness in a wide range of human & animal applications under varied conditions.
