¹ Marine biologists in association with a mechanical engineer pioneered processing technology to concentrate the organic plant growth stimulants contained in the cells of fresh, crisp Ecklonia maxima Kelp.  The resulting process uses mechanical pressure to burst the cell walls, purposefully avoiding the use of extreme temperatures, dehydration, hydrolysis, and freezing.
